Carlie Goldstein followed with a double to the fence in center for a 1-0 lead.
• After Swarthmore loaded the bases on an infield chop, hit batter and error in the top of the second but could not score,
Morgan DeFreitas (Coatesville, Pa./Downingtown West) led off the home half of the inning with a single. A fielder's choice with everyone safe on a sacrifice attempt but the first two on base. With one out,
Bailey Quinn (Hanford, Calif./Robinson Secondary School [Va.]) dropped a single into center to load the bases for
Audrey Bergan (Encinitas, Calif./La Jolla Country Day School), who poked the first pitch she saw for a triple in the right-center gap to stretch the lead to 4-0.

• In game two, Jordan Jackson singled with one out in the top of the first before moving to second on a wild pitch and scoring on a two-out Olivia McClammy single up the middle.
•
Lauren O'Leary (Manasquan, N.J./Jackson Memorial) blasted the first pitch she saw in the bottom of the inning over the left-field fence for a one-out home run, tying the game at 1-all.
• A walk, hit batter and two-out RBI groundout made it 2-1 in the top of the third before a Komst walk, Goldstein double and DeFreitas RBI groundout retied the game.
• Rae Barron led off the fourth with an infield single before moving to second on a sacrifice and scoring on a Iris Barone single through the right side. A two-base error and Jackson single to center stretched the advantage to 4-2.
• An Avery McClure two-out double and Molly O'Sullivan single stretched the lead to 5-2 in the fifth.
