THE SKINNY STORY
A seventh-inning home run gave Gettysburg a 2-1 win in the opener at Haverford before the Bullets put up three three-run innings for a 10-2, five-inning game two victory and the sweep.

THE LEADERS
Giovanna Komst (Londonderry, N.H./Londonderry) led the Bullets with two hits in each game, totaling four hits, three runs and an RBI in the two games.

FOR THE FOES
• Kyra Van Denburgh led the Fords with two hits in the opener.

THE REST OF THE STORY
Audrey Bergan (Encinitas, Calif./La Jolla Country Day School) drew a walk to lead off game one before back-to-back fielder's choices had Carlie Goldstein (Verona, N.J./Verona) at first with two outs. Morgan DeFreitas (Coatesville, Pa./Downingtown West) roped a double to right, scoring Goldstein for a 1-0 lead.
• A throwing error allowed Mia Kessinger to reach to start the fourth inning. A sacrifice and hit batter put runners at the corners before Addie Sapirstein's RBI groundout tied the game.
Giovanna Komst led off the seventh with a home run to left-center for a 2-1 lead before Paige Forry (Reading, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) worked around a one-out infield single in the bottom of the inning to preserve the victory.
• In game two, Komst led off the second with a single before a one-out walk to Clare Sottile (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Spacenkill) and throwing error on a fielder's choice allowed Sottile to score and put Julia Smith (Marydel, Md./Queen Anne's County) at third with two outs. Anika Pelekis (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) doubled home Smith before scoring on an Emily Vinal (Erwinna, Pa./Mt. St. Joseph Academy) for a 3-0 lead.
• Jocelyn Leal led off the home second with an infield single before a sacrifice bunt, fielding error and Maddie Etheridge single made it 3-1.
• A Komst double and back-to-back two-out walks loaded the bases in the top of the third for Pelekis, who singled to push the advantage to 4-1.
• A fielding error, stolen base, groundout and wild pitch made it 4-2 in the bottom of the frame.
• Bergan walked to lead off the fourth before moving to second on a wild pitch and scoring on a one-out Goldstein double. After she moved to third on a wild pitch, Allegra DeCandia (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge) singled Goldstein home. A walk to Sottile and a Smith double pushed the lead to 7-2.
• Three straight two-out walks in the fifth loaded the bases for DeCandia. She poked a two-out single to center to make it 9-2 before a wild pitch and Sottile single put the game in run-rule territory. Megan Hughes (Woodstock, Md./Marriotts Ridge) then worked around a one-out double and fielding error with a pair of groundouts in the bottom of the fifth to end the game early.

Giovanna Komst had the only multi-hit outing of the opener.
Paige Forry struck out two and scattered five hits for the win in the circle.
• In addition to Komst, Allegra DeCandia and Anika Pelekis each had two hits in game two. DeCandia added three RBIs while Pelekis had two.
