OPENING FACEOFF: Today's Centennial Conference (CC) game marks the 28th all-time meeting between No. 15 Gettysburg (8-4, 4-1 CC) and Muhlenberg (6-7, 3-2 CC) in a series that dates back to 1976. The Bullets lead the all-time series 24-3 and have won three straight in the series since the Mules snapped a six-game skid with a 15-10 win on May 8, 2021.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Gettysburg scored the final four goals to overcome a two-goal, fourth-quarter deficit and top Muhlenberg 15-13 last season in Allentown. Kieran Ward led the Bullets with three goals and three assists, including having a hand in three of the final four tallies to pull off the victory. James Dalimonte led the Mules with four goals. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg used a 5-0 third quarter to push past Franklin & Marshall 8-5 on Wednesday afternoon. Patrick Maroney scored three goals. He also grabbed two ground balls and caused one turnover. James Moroney led the Diplomat attack with one goal and two assists. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

NO. 15 WITH A BULLET: Gettysburg dropped to No. 15 in the latest USILA Div. III coaches' poll after falling to then-No. 16 Swarthmore on Saturday.

THANK YOU, SENIORS!: Today is the final regular-season home game for 10 Gettysburg seniors. Over the last four seasons, the group has helped the Bullets to an overall record of 39-19, including a 20-7 mark in conference play. They have also qualified for the Centennial Conference tournaments in both seasons there has been a tournament and advanced to the NCAA tournament in 2022 and 2023. They have also been active in the community, helping support The Headstrong Foundation, Bringing Hope Home, the American Heart Association, Adams County Special Olympics, the Painted Turtle Farm, the Gettysburg Homeless Shelter, the Gettysburg Soup Kitchen, Ruth’s Harvest, Lace Up for Cancer, One Love and the local Gettysburg and New Oxford youth lacrosse programs, all while maintaining a cumulative GPA of a 3.42.

DOWN THE STRETCH THEY COME: After this afternoon's home finale, the Bullets have two remaining conference road games. A win this afternoon would all but lock up a conference tournament appearance. The win today coupled with at least one win in the final two - at Dickinson and at Washington - would secure a first-round bye. Gettysburg needs a 3-0 finish to the season to assure a home semifinal game.

LAST TIME OUT: A strong beginning and a strong ending gave Muhlenberg a 10-8 win at Ursinus on Wednesday night. The Mules scored nine of its 10 goals in the first and fourth quarters. The Mules did allow the first two goals of the game and the last two, but for the middle 52 minutes the defense let in only four goals. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

THE ROAD ENDS HERE: Today is the final regular-season road contest for Muhlenberg. Five of the Mules' seven losses this season have come away from Scott Wood Stadium. A win this afternoon would go a long way to help Muhlenberg secure a conference tournament bid. However, the Mules are currently tied for fourth place in the standings and - after today - will have already cleared the top three teams off their schedules and will still be able to make the five-team field with home wins over Haverford and Franklin & Marshall next week. Muhlenberg has its conference bye on the final day of the regular season.
