The Bullets lead the all-time series 36-31-1 but the two teams have split games since 2015, winning eight times each.

SHORTENING THE DAY: In the first year of the Centennial Conference implementing the run rule, which ends the game when a team is leading by 10 or more runs after seven innings, Washington has been the team leading the way in run-rule games. Five of the Shoremen's 11 games through Tuesday have ended early. Tuesday's 10-run win over Franklin & Marshall was the first time Washington was on the winning end of the decision, however. The Shoremen dropped a seven-inning games to Swarthmore and Haverford as well as eight-inning affairs to Ursinus and Dickinson. Washington added a sixth 10-run loss to Haverford but that came after a nine-run Ford top of the ninth.
