OPENING FACEOFF: Today's Centennial Conference (CC) game marks the 68th all-time meeting between No. 15 Gettysburg (7-4, 3-1 CC) and Franklin & Marshall (6-6, 0-3 CC) in a series that dates back to 1958. The Bullets lead the all-time series 40-27 and have won back-to-back games in the series for the first time since 2015-16. The Diplomats last won 16-11 on May 1, 2021.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Gettysburg scored the first nine goals of the game and never looked back for a 15-7 win at Franklin & Marshall last season. Zack Kinsella scored twice, netting his first two goals of the season for the Bullets. He also added two caused turnovers and four ground balls. Quinton Mather recorded his second hat trick of the year with three goals. Cullen Decker led the Diplomats with three goals and three assists. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

LAST TIME OUT: No. 16 Swarthmore prevailed in a conference showdown, controlling the faceoff X and pulled away from No. 9 Gettysburg late for a 13-9 victory. Patrick Maroney and Ethan Kessler each scored two goals. Michael Hardiman finished with four goals to lead the Garnet. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

NO. 15 WITH A BULLET: Gettysburg dropped to No. 15 in the latest USILA Div. III coaches' poll after falling to then-No. 16 Swarthmore on Saturday.

DEL-DOING IT: Brian Delduchetto is currently second on the team with 16 caused turnovers to go with 24 ground balls as a key member of the Bullet defensive unit. He has recorded seven caused turnovers in the last three games and 10 in the last five. He has also picked up four or more ground balls in each of the last four outings. He has a pair of games this season with five ground balls and two more times where he has notched three caused turnovers. The only player on the team with more five-GB games this season is Will Hedley, who has five.

LAST TIME OUT: Franklin & Marshall fell behind early last Wednesday night and could never recover from that deficit in a 21-11 defeat at Stevenson. The Diplomats outscored the Mustangs 6-2 during the fourth quarter but that was not nearly enough to recover from a 16-4 first half deficit that saw the hosts leading 10-2 after 15 minutes. Jack Luviano headlined the offensive efforts for Franklin & Marshall with a hat trick. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

DOWN BUT NOT OUT: The Diplomats have dropped their last four games. The swoon started with a 13-12 double-overtime loss at Haverford to open conference play on Mar. 23. Franklin & Marshall had to rally from a 12-8 deficit with four goals in the final 8:53 of regulation just to force overtime but the Fords won it less than a minute into the second extra frame. Since then, the Diplomats have fallen at home to then-No. 7 Dickinson 13-6 and then-No. 15 Swarthmore 10-7 before the 10-goal defeat to the Mustangs last Wednesday. F&M has not been on a four-game skid since dropping the final four games of 2010 and have not lost five in a row under Todd Cavaliaro.
