GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Jayson Kramer has joined the Gettysburg baseball staff as an assistant coach, announced by Cory Beddick.

Kramer is a local product, playing his high school ball at Cumberland Valley and collegiately the last two seasons at Division I Mount St. Mary's.

"We could not be more excited to add Jayson to our coaching staff," Beddick said. "Coach Kramer's successful playing career, passion for the game, and a desire to be a coach at the collegiate level made him a no-brainer decision for our program. We are looking forward to all that he will contribute to our team in helping us build the program into one that is developing our players at a high level, and competing for championships."

Kramer's collegiate career started at Patrick Henry Community College, where he led the squad to an NJCAA Region X title in 2021. An all-region performer in the outfield, he hit .372 and was awarded the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings Gold Glove in his first season.

He joined The Mount for the 2023 and 2024 season. In his first year with the Mountaineers, he hit .312, starting 50 of the 51 games in the outfield. He started 107 games over two years, recording more than 50 hits each year, rapping out 22 doubles and 13 home runs among his 112 hits. In 2024, he earned MAAC All-Tournament honors.
