THE SKINNY STORY
At first neither team could break the other defense until late in the second quarter when Gettysburg scored two before the half. With a stalemate of a second half, the Bullets finished off a 2-0 over Elizabethtown.
THE LEADERS

Jillian Somers (Virginia Beach, Va./Cape Henry Collegiate) scored the first goal, marking her fourth goal of the season.

Alex Wenz (Blue Bell, Pa./Gwynedd Mercy Academy) scored her first goal of the season.
FOR THE FOES
• Angelina Giglio-Tos made seven saves in goal for the Blue Jays.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• The first 23 minutes of the game was a back-and-forth battle between the Bullets and the Blue Jays.
Jillian Somers knocked home the first goal in the 24th minute before
Alex Wenz redirected a ball that had chipped up in the air into the cage just over four minutes later.
• The best chance of the second half came when Elizabethtown was awarded a penalty stroke in the third period but
Emilia Saccento (Scotch Plains, N.J./Scotch Plains Fanwood) turned away the attempt to preserve the shutout.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Elizabethtown had two defensive saves with Hailey Meyer and Megan Meyer each recording one.
• Gettysburg finished with advantages of 15-8 in shots and 10-7 in penalty corners.

Emilia Saccento made seven saves for her second straight shutout.
