THE SKINNY STORY
McDaniel, ranked 25th in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll, scored twice in the first 24 minutes of the game to top Gettysburg, 2-1.
THE LEADERS

Jane Daiutolo (Wayne, Pa./Radnor) scored a late goal for the Bullets.
FOR THE FOES
• Elaina Kluttz scored the eventual game-winner for the Green Terror.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• In the 11th minute, Gabriella Piantadosi netted her second tally off a feed from Madyson Hill. Elaina Kluttz then found the back of the net in the 24th minute for a 2-0 lead.
• After McDaniel held an 8-1 advantage in shots in the first half, Gettysburg turned the field and outshot its hosts 9-5 in the second half.
Jane Daiutolo scored on the final of those attempts to break up the shutout.
THE INSIDE STORY
• McDaniel finished with a 13-10 advantage in shots while both teams took five corner kicks.

Alex Jurow (Teaneck, N.J./Parsippany Hills) made two saves while Lauren Hoolahan had four stops.
