• The first half was played mostly in the midfield with neither team able to control play for extended periods of time.

James Blake (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East) played a corner kick into the box that
Max Sams (Farmington, Conn./Kingswood Oxford) shot off a defender. The rebound caromed to
Chase Sempervive, who used his body to knock it into the goal.
• A minute later, Joel Wollin crossed a ball to JP Melgoza, who one-timed a shot from distance to draw the game back level.
