THE LEADERS
• In the A Doubles flight,
Gabby Mazzeo (Bethel, Conn./Bethel) and
Arina Zheliaskova (Saint Petersburg, Russia/Gymnasium 540) teamed to win the flight. The duo opened with a bye before winning their semifinal match 6-0 and defeating Dickinson's Sharnoff and Steele 6-3 for the title.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• In the D singles flight,
Claire Carroccio (Newtown Square, Pa./Villa Maria Academy) and
Meaghan Dougherty (Heath, Texas/Rockwell-Heath) both advanced to the finals of the flight but opted not to play each other. Carroccio won her matches by scores of 8-1 and 8-5 then played in the backdraw of the C singles flight and lost, 8-1. Dougherty won 8-5 and 8-0.
• In the B Doubles flight,
Eden Levkov (Summit, N.J./Summit) and Dougherty won their opening match 6-2 before advancing to the bracket final with a 6-3 victory. Dickinson's Uyumazturk and Romeo claimed the bracket title with a 6-0 win.
• Carroccio and
Lindsay Paullin (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's) also compete in the B Doubles flight, winning their opening match 6-2 before falling to the eventual champions, 6-2.

Mia Graham (Pennellville, N.Y./John C. Birdlebough) recorded an 8-6 win in the opening round of the E singles flight before falling 7-4 in an 8-7 tiebreaker loss to the Red Devils' Maddie Lindquist.
• In C singles, Paullin won her opening match 8-1 before falling in the semifinals to Dickinson's Anabel Romeo, 8-2 in the semifinals.
