Catholic won five of the six singles matches to record a 5-2 win over Gettysburg.
THE LEADERS

Matt Porreca (Blue Bell, Pa./La Salle College) led the Bullets with a three-set win at third singles. Porreca won the first set 6-4 before Ian Arenas won the second set in a tiebreaker. Porreca rebounded for a 10-5 super-tiebreaker third set victory.
FOR THE FOES
• Lorenzo Neri won twice for the Cardinals. He and Ian Arenas won second doubles 7-5 before Neri wrapped up the 2-0 day with a 6-0, 6-3 win at first singles.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Grayson Kahng (Metuchen, N.J./Metuchen) added a win at sixth singles for Gettysburg, winning in three sets. Kahng won the first set 6-1 before Flynn Hollinger won the second set by the same score. Kahng won the final super-tiebreaker, 10-4.

JP Damare (Raleigh, N.C./Cardinal Gibbons) and
Connor McPartland (Furlong, Pa./Central Bucks East) teamed for a 7-6 win at first doubles by taking the tiebreaker, 7-2. Jake Hershey and Hollinger won third doubles 7-5 to secure the doubles point for Catholic.
• James Earwood and Romo Diego both won in straight sets for the Cardinals. Earwood won No. 2 singles 6-2, 6-3 while Diego won fifth singles, 6-1, 6-3.
