McDaniel scored a pair of first-half goals to take a 2-0 halftime lead and eventually defeat Gettysburg, 4-2.

Finn Hoefer (New York City, N.Y./Grace Church School) got the Bullets on the board early in the second half.
FOR THE FOES
• Carver Neary recorded a goal and an assist to lead the Green Terror.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• After a scoreless first 26 minutes, Carver Neary found Conor O'Brien, who finished to stake the hosts to a 1-0 lead. Just three and a half minutes later, Neary doubled the advantage to give McDaniel a 2-0 lead with just over 30 minutes gone.

Finn Hoefer broke up the shutout just 1:47 into the second half when he knocked home a feed from
Tommy Myers (Rockville, Md./Good Counsel). That margin held until Nicholas Clarke re-established the two-goal lead in the 74th minute.
Cameron Linnington (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) finished a pass from
Julius Rigo (Coatesville, Pa./Collegium Charter) to once again pull the visitors within one with just over 10 minutes to play. Charlie Olson, however, added an insurance goal with less than three minutes to play for the final margin.
THE INSIDE STORY
•
Sean Kennedy (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) made seven saves in goal.
• McDaniel finished with a 16-4 advantage in shots but Gettysburg put home both of its attempts on goal. The Green Terror also had a 6-3 edge in corner kicks.
