THE SKINNY STORY
Johns Hopkins, ranked second in the latest NFHCA Div. III coaches' poll, scored a goal in each of the final three periods for a 3-0 win over Gettysburg.
THE LEADERS

Sam Woolery (Media, Pa./Penncrest) anchored the defensive unit for the Bullets, recording her first defensive save of the season.
FOR THE FOES
• Julia Widen opened the scoring and was one of three different Blue Jays to score on the night.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• After a scoreless opening 26 minutes, Johns Hopkins played a ball into the circle from the left wing that ping-ponged off a couple of players before finding Julia Widen, who turned and blasted home the game's first goal.
• On a corner in the 32nd minute, Grace Waldeck slipped a ball through the defense and Sophia Albano was there to knock it in from her knees to double the lead early in the third quarter.
• Megan Chang set the final margin with a rebound goal in the final minute.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Johns Hopkins, which has secured the top seed in the upcoming Centennial Conference tournament, finished with advantages of 18-1 in shots and 11-0 in penalty corners.

Emilia Saccento (Scotch Plains, N.J./Scotch Plains Fanwood) made six saves in goal for the Bullets.
