THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg had two runners finish in the top 31 at the prestigious, four-race Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh. The Bullets placed 11th in the 34-team Green Race with 323 points.
THE LEADERS
•
Asher Leuzzi (Weston, Conn./Weston) led the Bullets with a 30th-place finish, registering a time of 26:57.3 on the 8,000-meter course, breaking 27 minutes for the first time in his collegiate career.
FOR THE FOES
• Haskell Indian Club Team won the race with 83 points while Mary Washington was the top collegiate team with 124 points.
• Susquehanna's Derick Blair claimed the individual title with a time of 25:18.8.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Maddon McNicholas (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley) was right behind Ashur Leuzzi in 31st place with a time of 26:59.6.

Mick Lorenger (Alexandria, Va./Thomas Edison) crossed the line 72nd with a time of 27:55.9. while
Colin Carpenter (Ridgefield, Conn./Wooster School) followed him home in 73rd with a time of 27:56.1.

Jack Taylor (Mohnton, Pa./Twin Valley) placed 127th with a time of 28:49.8.
•
Jack Rogers (Gaithersburg, Md./Good Counsel) was 135th (28:51.3) while
Andrew Ersin (Wynnewood, Pa./Lower Merion) was 149th (29:05.1).

Baxter Merriam (154th, 29:11.2),
Ben Cole (157th, 29:17.7),
Jayden Craig (203rd, 29:58.9),
Matthew Kurek (204th, 30:00.2),
Matthew Wagner (274th, 32:43) rounded out the Bullet competitors.
THE INSIDE STORY
• A total of 305 runners competed at the 8,000-meter distance.

Asher Leuzzi turned in Gettysburg's 16th-ranked time while
Maddon McNicholas's time ranks 18th at Lehigh's Goodman Campus.
