THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg came back to win three straight sets after dropping the opening set to defeat Ursinus, 3-1.
THE LEADERS

Alycen Radolovic (Willoughby, Ohio/Beaumont School) led the Bullets with 21 kills and hit .533 on the day.
FOR THE FOES
• Mel Eglington led the Bears with 10 kills and nine digs.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Two Erin Dychdala aces staked Ursinus to a 4-2 lead early in the first set. Back-to-back
Erin Gonzalez (Cincinnati, Ohio/Ursuline Academy) kills capped a 5-0 burst to give Gettysburg a 10-7 lead. The Bears, however, scored eight of the next 10 points for a 15-12 edge. The Bullets got back to within 22-21 but Ursinus took the opening set, 25-21.
• Gettysburg blasted out to a 6-1 lead in the second set before Ursinus used six straight points to take a 9-8 edge. An 8-1 Bullets run that was keyed by aces by
Mary Huegel (Marlboro, N.J./Colts Neck) and
Kendall Erpenbeck (San Jose, Calif./Prospect) opened up a 17-11 lead before the Bears once again clawed back to within 23-22.
Reece Benner (Royersford, Pa./Pope John Paul II), however, ended the 25-22 set win with an ace to tie the match at 1-all.
• Five straight points from Gettysburg turned an early 5-2 hole into a 7-5 lead. After the two teams traded runs, the Bullets closed the set on a 7-2 run behind two more aces to win, 25-18.
• Tied at 5-all in the fourth set,
Kierra Fox (Phoenix, Ariz./Rancho Solano Prep School) tallied a pair of aces to key a 7-0 run. Ursinus pulled back within 13-12 but three
Alycen Radolovic kills ignited an 8-1 run to key a 25-14 victory.
