LANCASTER, Pa. – Two members of the Gettysburg volleyball team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) team, released on Tuesday.
Mary Huegel (Marlboro, N.J./Colts Neck) was named to the first team while
Alycen Radolovic (Willoughby, Ohio/Beaumont School) was selected to the second team.
Huegel, a senior middle hitter, is making her third straight appearance on the first team. Starting all 26 matches in which she played, she led the team with 104 total blocks. She recorded five or more blocks in eight matches and had at last one in 24 matches. She recorded a double-double with 15 kills and 10 total blocks in a 3-2 win over Dickinson on Oct. 15. She also contributed 180 kills and 28 aces. She is just the third player in program history to be named to the first team at least three times and first since Shannan Smith was the first-team setter in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
Radolovic, a senior right-side hitter, is making her first appearance on the all-conference team. Appearing in 27 matches with 18 starts, she led the team with 262 kills, reaching the double-digit mark 14 times. She also added 34 total blocks and 84 digs.
Senior
Kendall Erpenbeck (San Jose, Calif./Prospect) was Gettysburg's representative on the All-Sportsmanship Team.
The Bullets finished the season 19-10 (7-3 CC) advanced to the CC semifinals.
