THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg opened the indoor track and field season with three all-time top-ten program marks and three top-three finishes at the Diplomat Open hosted by Franklin & Marshall.
THE LEADERS
- Georgia Mercer (Elkton, Md., Rising Sun) led the Bullets with a tenth place finish in the 60-meter hurdles prelims with a Centennial Conference (CC)-qualifying time of 10.13 seconds which ranks ninth in program history however, she did not start in the finals. She also competed in the long jump placing sixth with a CC-qualifying leap of 5.00 meters. Mercer also hit a personal-best in the high jump with a result of 1.37 meters to place tenth, which was a CC-qualifying distance. She added another CC-qualifying and personal-best distance in her shot put performance with a 10.12 meter throw to place ninth.
- Emma Marden (Dover, Mass., Dover-Sherborn Regional) finished 14th in the 60 meter prelims with a CC-qualifying time of 8.46 seconds which ranks ninth in program history however, she did not start in the finals. She also came in 27th in the 200 with a time of 29.28 seconds.
- Elyse Tancini (Collegeville, Pa., Perkiomen Valley) placed third in the 5,000 with a CC-qualifying time of 18:27.71 which ranks tenth in program history.
- Eliza Hoover (Mahwah, N.J., Academy of the Holy Angels) came in third place in the 800 hitting a CC-qualifying time of 2:27.71.
- Lillian Judge (Beverly, Mass., Beverly), Theresa Ditri (Huntingdon Valley, Pa., William Tennent), Mercer, and Bella Yardeni (Port Washington, N.Y., Paul D. Schreiber) combined to finish second in the 4x400 relay with a time of 4:22.89.

THE REST OF THE STORY
- Bella Yardeni (Port Washington, N.Y., Paul D. Schreiber) placed seventh in the 400 with a CC-qualifying time of 1:06.05.
- Sara Lessard (Sharon, Mass., Sharon) finished seventh in the 800 with at CC-qualifying time of 2:29.43.
- Kailey Schissler (Pasadena, Md., Chesapeake) came in seventh in the high jump with a CC-qualifying leap of 1.42 meters. She also competed in the 60 meter prelims and the 200 finishing 20th with a CC-qualifying time of 8.60 seconds and 30th with a time of 29.99 seconds respectively. Schissler did not start in the 60 meter finals.
- Theresa Ditri (Huntingdon Valley, Pa., William Tennent) completed the 800 with a CC-qualifying time of 2:31.36 to place eighth.
- Abbey Woodcome (Hudson, Mass., Hudson) placed eighth in the 5,000 with a CC-qualifying time of 19:49.17.
- Sarah Molloy (Enola, Pa., Covenant Christian Academy) finished ninth in the high jump with a CC-qualifying leap of 1.37 meters.
- Jenna Weylman (Walpole, Mass., Walpole) came in tenth in the 60 meter prelims with a CC-qualifying time of 8.34 seconds, however she did not start in the finals. She also competed in the 200 with a CC-qualifying time of 28.13 seconds to finish tenth.
- Lillian Judge (Beverly, Mass., Beverly) completed the 60-meter hurdles prelims with a CC-qualifying time of 10.23 seconds placing 12th however, she did not start in the finals. She also finished 14th in the 200 with a CC-qualifying time of 28.43 seconds.
- Caroline Gensinger (Cream Ridge, N.J., Allentown) placed 12th in shot put with a CC-qualifying throw of 9.98 meters and came in 13th in the weight throw with another CC-qualifying toss of 11.57 meters.
THE INSIDE STORY
- Jess McLaughlin (Wilton, Conn., Wilton) finished 14th in the 5,000 with a time of 20:55.59.
- Lindsay Hickman (Manasquan, N.J., Manasquan) came in 16th in the 5,000 with a time of 21:04.91. Following Hickman was Megan McArthur (Hillsborough, N.J., Hillsborough) in 17th with a time of 21:26.98 and Danielle Fritchman (East Greenville, Pa., Upper Perkiomen) in 18th with a time of 21:43.63.
