HEAD OF THE CLASS: Sophomore Jackson Hearn was named Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday after leading the Bullets to a 16-9 win at No. 12 Lynchburg in the season opener on Saturday. He scored a career-best four goals on four shots. He also had a caused turnover.
BALANCED ATTACK: Gettysburg had nine different players register a point in the season opener at Lynchburg last Saturday. A pair of freshman found the back of the net in their first collegiate games. Jackson Barroll recorded a goal and two assists while Nicholas Limberg also found paydirt in the second quarter. In addition to Jackson Hearn's four markers, Jack Dunleavy added a four-point day, adding an assist to his hat trick. Charlie Johnson contributed two goals and two assists.
