FIRST PITCH: Today's non-conference doubleheader marks the 75th and 76th all-time meetings between Gettysburg (3-0) and Albright (2-0) that dates back to 1910. The Bullets lead the all-time series 40-33-1, including wins in the last four meetings. The last Lions victory was a doubleheader sweep in 2018, 5-1 and 7-4.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Gettysburg scored five runs in the first three inning and held off a late push by Albright to hold on for a 10-8 win last season. Emmanuel Ajewole hit 1.000 (2-for-2) with two runs scored, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Tyler Lizell recorded his third save in a row with a perfect ninth inning. John O'Connor went 2-of-3 with three runs, one RBI, and one walk for the Lions. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg took advantage of 16 walks, including 12 over the first three innings to go with two hit batters, for a 13-9 win over Notre Dame (Md.) on Tuesday. Jack Burke led the Bullets with a 2-for-3 day with three runs scored and three RBIs. Kevin Goedeke led the Gators with two hits and three RBIs. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

WALK THIS WAY: Gettysburg has drawn 34 walks through the first three games this season while the pitching staff has surrendered just six in 23 innings. Robert Murphy leads the team with six bases on balls this season. Eight of the nine batters who have started at least two of the three games enter this weekend with no fewer than three walks. 

LAST TIME OUT: Albright began their 2025 season with two wins over Penn State-Hazelton on Sunday. Albright scored 25 runs in 15 innings on 27 hits. The Lions took game one 11-1 before completing the sweep with a 14-3 victory in the nightcap. (Full Recap) (Game One Box) (Game Two Box)

MULTI-FACETED: Albright had six players record multiple hits in Sunday's doubleheader sweep. Jack Gilmer and Nick Barton had five hits each in the twinbill. Gilmer was 2-for-5 in game one before going a perfect 3-for-3 in game two. Barton was 3-for-5 in the opener and 2-for-3 in the nightcap. Deklyn Marks added a 3-for-3 game two after not playing game one. Michael Avino had a three-hit game one for the Lions.
