OPENING TIP: Today's Centennial Conference (CC) game marks the 65th all-time meeting between No. 9 Gettysburg (18-2, 8-1 CC) and Muhlenberg (14-6, 4-5 CC) in a series that dates back to 1962. The Mules hold a 33-31 edge in the all-time series but the Bullets have won the last 11 of the last 12 meetings.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Gettysburg turned an early 5-0 deficit to a seven-point advantage at the end of the first quarter and didn't trail the rest of the way to down Muhlenberg 67-53 in Gettysburg last season. Alayna Arnolie led all scorers with 27 points, shooting 7 of 11 from outside the arc to tie the single-game 3-pointer record. She also shot 9 of 13 from field goal range. AB Holsinger finished just one assist shy of a double-double, with 10 points and nine assists. She also added three rebounds and one steal. Emily Unger put up 13 points to lead the Mules' offense. LAST TIME OUT: Johns Hopkins, ranked 20th, turned a tie game after three quarters into a 59-51 win over No. 9 Gettysburg. Alayna Arnolie led three Bullets in double digits with 12 points. Macie Feldman paced the Blue Jays with 18 points and 11 rebounds. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

NINE BY NINE: Gettysburg has recorded a pair of nine-game winning streaks this season and both were snapped by fourth-quarter comebacks by the opponent. After starting the year 9-0, the Bullets dropped a 58-54 decision to Williams where the Ephs overcame a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to win. Gettysburg then followed that loss by another nine victories in a row before Johns Hopkins turned a 38-all game after three quarters into a 59-51 home victory. The two losses were two of the Bullets' three lowest scoring outputs of the season and two of just four times this season that the offense didn't reach 60 points in a game.

LAST TIME OUT: Muhlenberg had its three-game winning streak snapped with a 69-41 home loss to Dickinson on Wednesday. The Mules led 5-4 three minutes into the game but made only two field goals against the press of the Red Devils the rest of the quarter. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

LID ON THE BUCKET: Since starting 11-1 and averaging 64.0 points per game, Muhlenberg has reached the 60-point mark in just one game - a 69-53 win over Bryn Mawr on Jan. 28. Since then, the Mules are 3-5 and averaging just 51.9 points per game. Wednesday marked the third time in that stretch that Muhlenberg failed to even get to 50 points, tying its season-low output with just 41 points. Veronica Dawson (12.3 ppg) and Katie McGrath (11.3) are the team's leading scorers.
