THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg scored single runs in the third and sixth innings and got another strong outing on the mound to defeat Franciscan, 2-0.

THE LEADERS
Alex Wilkie-Viscio (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) pitched into the eighth inning, striking out eight and walking none to pick up the win on the hill for the Bullets.

FOR THE FOES
• Josiah Bodie led the Barons with a 3-for-4 day at the plate.

THE REST OF THE STORY
Robert Murphy (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Gov. Livingston) led off the top of the third with a single before scoring on a Will Stellato (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Warde) one-out double for a 1-0 lead.
• In the sixth, Michael Fishetti (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) singled to start the sixth before giving way to pinch-runner Henry Smith (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle), who stole second. A flyout and error allowed Smith to score with an insurance run.

THE INSIDE STORY
Will Stellato led the offense with two hits.
Tyler Lizell (Upper Dublin, Pa./Upper Dublin) pitched the ninth inning for his second save in three days.
• The 12-0 start to the season is the best start to a season in program history.
