OPENING DRAW: Today's non-conference game marks the 12th all-time meeting between No. 4 Gettysburg (5-0) and No. 11 York (3-1) in a series that dates back to 2014. The Bullets lead the all-time series 9-2, including wins in the last five matchups. The last Spartan victory was a 14-12 win on Apr. 20, 2018 in York.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Gettysburgscored the game's first five goals and led by no fewer than three goals the rest of the way in an 18-12 win over No. 14 York (Pa.) last season. Lily Macatee pulled down a career-high 13 draw controls, which is the second most by any Bullet in a single game in program history. Jordan Basso led the Bullets with five goals, one assist, three ground balls and two caused turnovers. Gianna Huet led the Spartans with three goals and two assists. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg, ranked fourth, had three runs of three straight goals or more to defeat No. 22 Christopher Newport 16-6 on Wednesday. Julie Breedveld was one of three players to record hat tricks for the Bullets. Julia Daly added four assists to her three goals for a seven-point outing. NO. 4 WITH A BULLET: Gettysburg moved up to fourth in this week's IWLCA Div. III coaches' poll after win over then-No. 4 Salisbury last Saturday. The Bullet were ninth in the first four polls this season before moving to sixth last week

HEAD OF THE CLASS: Grace Battle was named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week and USA Lacrosse Division III Player of the Week on Tuesday. She led the Bullets to a 12-11 overtime win over No. 4 Salisbury on Saturday. She established a career high with five goals, including scoring four of Gettysburg's final five tallies. She also had the overtime game-winner.

JUST HOW SHE DREW IT UP: Lily Macatee pulled down seven draw controls at Christopher Newport on Wednesday to give her 282 for her career. She enters today's game three shy of tying Bridget Kenny's (2012-15) all-time program career mark of 285.

LAST TIME OUT: Then-16th-ranked York picked up a second road win of the week with a dominant 12-5 victory at then-No. 8 Washington and Lee last Saturday. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

SAVING THE DAY: York goalie Bella Garabo was named the MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending March 9. She posted a pair of double-digit save performances in two road wins. She began the week with 10 saves and a fourth-quarter shutout while holding Washington College to a season-low six goals in the 16-6 win last Wednesday. She then added 11 more saves to highlight York's 12-5 upset win at No. 8 Washington and Lee on Saturday. Garabo and the Spartan defense limited a General offense that entered the day averaging 17.7 goals per game this season. For the week, the Spartan goalie posted a .656 save percentage and allowed just 11 goals in two games.
