FIRST PITCH: Today's non-conference game marks the 21st all-time meeting between No. 21 Gettysburg (14-0) and Stevenson (5-12) in a series that dates back to 2001. The series is tied at 10-all. The Bullets snapped a four-game Mustang winning streak in the series with a 14-10 victory last season in Owings Mills.

LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg jumped out to a 7-1 lead in the first four innings en route to a 16-4 victory over Lasell to cap its eight-game trip to Fort Pierce, Fla., with a perfect 8-for-8 mark. Jack Pistner led the Bullets with five hits, three RBIs and two runs scored, including a triple. Matt Nichols added four hits of his own, chipping in two RBIs and a run scored. AMONG THE RANKS: Gettysburg entered the D3baseball.com/NCBWA Div. III poll at 21st when the Week 3 ranking was released on Monday night. The Bullets are in the poll for the first time since the 2014 season and off to the best start in program history with 14 straight victories to start the year. Gettysburg has the longest winning streak in Division III and is one of three teams in Division III that remains undefeated with a minimum of five games played. The offense is hitting .334 as a team with six starters hitting .300 or better on the year. The pitching staff has an ERA of 3.00 as a corps. Seven of the 10 pitchers with seven or more innings of work this season have an earned-run average of 2.35 or better.

TOSSING A GEM: John Delgado claimed MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Week honors. In the middle game of the conference-opening series with Hood over the weekend, Delgado struck out 11 and walked just one on 101 pitches while allowing just one unearned run. He is 1-3 in five starts on the bump this season, striking out 32 in 20 ? innings. He has walked just 10 and has posted a team-best 3.98 earned-run average.
