Gettysburg had a pair of five-run innings to key a 14-10 win over Stevenson.

Emmanuel Ajewole (Floral Park, N.Y./Stony Brook School) led the Bullets with a 3-for-4 day at the plate with three RBIs.
FOR THE FOES
• John Padousis went 3-for-3 to lead the Mustangs, scoring one run.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• After Gettysburg stranded the bases loaded in the top of the first, Graham Sears led off the home first with a single. Christopher Manco followed with a single before an error and fielder's choice gave Stevenson a 2-0 lead. A two-out, two-run single from Brandon Perillo made it a 4-0 lead.

Alexey Stout (Wall, N.J./Christian Brothers Academy) and
Brian Andersen (Chester, N.J./West Morris Mendham) each singled to lead off the second before a
Will Bercaw (Kennett Square, Pa./Pennington) followed with a bunt single to load the bases with no outs. With two outs,
Adam Hicks (Edgewater, Md./Gilman School) and
Jack Pistner (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) each drew walks to force in a run before
Emmanuel Ajewole's bases-clearing double gave Gettysburg a 5-4 lead.
• John Padousis led off the bottom of the second with a double. Back-to-back walks loaded the bases before the Bullets' turned a double play while allowing the tying run to score. A passed ball gave the Mustangs a 6-5 edge.
• A pair of walks and an error tied the game in the top of the third before Stevenson got the one-run lead back on a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the frame.
• In the fourth, Pistner led off the inning with a single up the middle before a wild pitch and
Robert Murphy (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Governor Livingston) single put runners at the corners with one out. A Stout walk loaded the bases for Andersen, who made it back-to-back bases on balls to tie the game at 7-all. Bercaw singled home Murphy and a two-run
Jack Burke (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) gave the Bullets an 11-7 lead.
• A walk, Nick Tamberino double and RBI groundout made it 11-8 in the home fourth.
• Bercaw manufactured a run in the sixth to push the lead back to four. He walked to lead off the inning, stole second, moved to second on a ground out and scored on a Burke sacrifice fly.
• Stevenson cut the deficit in half in the bottom of the inning. A single and two walks loaded the bases before a Kaige Garrity single and squeeze play made it 12-10.
• Ajewole singled with one out in the seventh before a Murphy single down the line put runners at the corners and Gettysburg responded with its own squeeze to push the lead to 13-10.
• A pair of walks and
Matthew Vivona (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Ludlowe) sacrifice fly made it 14-10 in the top of the ninth before the game was called due to darkness with two outs.

Gettysburg returns to action at home against Mount Aloysius on Friday. The game was rescheduled from a Saturday doubleheader to a single game on Friday due to the forecast for rain on Saturday. Game time on Friday is 3 p.m.
