THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg scored five runs over the final two innings to defeat Wartburg 9-1 in six innings and complete its trip to the NFCA Leadoff Classic with a 4-1 record. The Bullets' final game of the trip was cancelled due to a late start and the team's flight home.

Jamie Shaw (Mount Airy, Md./Glenelg) led the Bullets with four hits, hitting for the cycle.

Paige Forry (Reading, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) went the distance in the circle with nine strikeouts.

• Bella Mulder led the Knights with a hit and scored the lone run in the sixth inning.

Audrey Bergan (Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Calif./La Jolla Country Day School) led off the bottom of the first with a single before scoring on a
Jamie Shaw triple. A one-out
Carlie Goldstein (Verona, N.J./Verona) single plated Shaw for a 2-0 lead.

Abigail Gold (Apex, N.C./Apex) walked to start the third before a one-out Shaw home run doubled the lead.
• Gold singled with one out in the fifth before Shaw,
Renee Laczkowski (Erie, Colo./Erie) and Goldstein put together three straight two-out base hits for a 7-0 lead.
• Wartburg got one run back with three straight one-out baserunners in the top of the sixth.

Sydney Goldstein (Villanova, Pa./Harriton) singled with one out in the sixth before a hit batter put two on. With two outs, Bergan singled home pinch-runner
