THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg scored five runs over the final two innings to defeat Wartburg 9-1 in six innings and complete its trip to the NFCA Leadoff Classic with a 4-1 record. The Bullets' final game of the trip was cancelled due to a late start and the team's flight home.

Jamie Shaw triple. A one-out
Carlie Goldstein (Verona, N.J./Verona) single plated Shaw for a 2-0 lead.

Abigail Gold (Apex, N.C./Apex) walked to start the third before a one-out Shaw home run doubled the lead.
• Gold singled with one out in the fifth before Shaw,
Renee Laczkowski (Erie, Colo./Erie) and Goldstein put together three straight two-out base hits for a 7-0 lead.
• Wartburg got one run back with three straight one-out baserunners in the top of the sixth.
