AMONG THE RANKS: Gettysburg entered the D3baseball.com/NCBWA Div. III poll at 21st when the Week 3 ranking was released on Monday night. The Bullets are in the poll for the first time since the 2014 season and off to the best start in program history with 14 straight victories to start the year. Gettysburg has the longest winning streak in Division III and is one of three teams in Division III that remains undefeated with a minimum of five games played.
TOP HEAVY: The top two hitters in the Gettysburg lineup reached base all 10 times against Stevenson on Wednesday. Jack Burke went 3-for-3 with a walk and was also hit by a pitch. He also scored five runs on the day. Will Stellato was 4-for-4 with a walk. Burke enters the weekend as the top hitter on the Bullets squad, hitting .481 on the year from the leadoff spot. He has 26 hits and has scored 28 runs.
