Gettysburg, ranked 21st in the latest D3baseball.com poll, scored six runs in the third inning to key a 13-3 victory over Stevenson.
THE LEADERS

Jack Burke (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) reached base all five times to lead the Bullets, scoring five runs. He was 3-for-3 with a walk and was hit by a pitch.

Will Stellato (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Warde) went 4-for-4 with four RBIs and two runs scored for his first career four-hit day.
FOR THE FOES
• Brandon Perillo reached base all three times for the Mustangs with a single and two walks. He also had an RBI.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Jack Burke poked a single into left to lead off the home first before a wild pitch and throwing error moved him to third base.
Will Stellato followed with a single to make it 1-0.
• A one-out walk to
Robert Murphy (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Gov. Livingston) and Burke single to center put two on in the second. Stellato followed with an RBI knock to the gap before a walk and RBI groundout made it 3-0.
• With one out in the third,
Jack Amirata (Montclair, N.J./Montclair Kimberley Academy) singled to right before four straight free passes made it 5-0. A fielding error and sacrifice fly stretched the lead to 7-0. A two-out
Michael Fischetti (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) double capped a six-run frame that opened up a 9-0 lead.
• Three walks around a Stellato swinging bunt and
Jack Pistner (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) double stretched the lead to 11-0 in the fourth.
• Stevenson used a one-out John Padousis single through the left side, a hit batter, two walks, a balk and error to cut the deficit to 11-3 in the top of the fifth.
• Amirata led off the home fifth with a single before being caught stealing. A two-out Murphy single followed by a Burke single and fielding error made it 12-3 with a runner at third. Stellato dropped a single into left for a 10-run lead.
