THE SKINNY STORY
As the only Division III team in the field of 16 teams, Gettysburg shot a tournament-low round of 284 on Sunday to vault to second place at The Carpetbagger Classic hosted at Worthington Manor Golf Club. The Bullets fired a round of 309 on Saturday before going low on Sunday to finish with a 36-hole score of 593.
THE LEADERS

Daniel Suter (Gaithersburg, Md./Milton Academy) went low in the second round, firing a round of four-under par 68 – the best single round in the field of 92 golfers – to place tied for fifth with a two-round score of 146 and lead the Bullets.
FOR THE FOES
• Mount St. Mary's won the team title with a score of 584, leading after the first round with a score of 293 before carding a round of 291 over the second 18. The Mountaineers' Aaron Sorkin won the individual title with a score of 142 (70-72).
THE REST OF THE STORY

Daniel Casanta (Southbury, Conn./Pomperaug) also carded a sub-par round on Sunday with a score of 70 after posting a round of 77 on Saturday to finish with a two-day total of 147 and place seventh in the field.

Patrick Kilcoyne (Belmont, Mass./Belmont) had Gettysburg's low round of the day on Saturday, posting a score of 74 before following that up with a 75 to place 17th with a total of 149.

Christian Deussing (Doylestown, Pa./Hun School of Princeton [N.J.]) placed 45th overall with a third Sunday round under par for the Bullets. He carded a round of 71 over the final round to finish with a score of 154.

Will Chouinard (Hamilton, N.Y./Hamilton) placed 72nd with a score of 159 (80-79).
THE INSIDE STORY
• Sunday's round of 284 was the Bullets' lowest round of the spring and was the team's seventh sub-par round as a team this season.

Daniel Suter's 10th round this season of par or better in 15 rounds played.
