Bullets open outdoor season with second place finish at Little 3

THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg scored 144 points to place second at the 2025 Little 3 Meet to open Outdoor season.

THE LEADERS
  • Jack Regentin (Gettysburg, Pa., Biglerville) led the Bullets with a program record and Centennial Conference (CC)-Qualifying throw of 44.34 meters in the hammer throw placing third in the event. He also threw a CC-qualifying toss of 47.46 meters to place first in the discus which ranks third in program history. Regentin also placed first in the shot put with a CC-qualifying throw of 15.06 meters which also ranks third in program history.
  • Liam O'Meara (Ridgewood, N.J., Ridgewood) placed first in the pole vault with a CC-qualifying height of 4.45 meters ranking third in program history. He also finished fifth with another CC-qualifying time of 11.64 seconds in the 100.
  • Trey Hunter (Reinholds, Pa., Cocalico) finished second in the 100 with a CC-qualifying time of 11.11 seconds. The CC-qualifying time ranks fifth in program history. He also finished second in the 200 with another CC-qualifying time of 23.19 seconds.
  • Eli Steel (York, Pa., York Country Day School)competed in the triple jump placing first with a CC-qualifying leap of 13.26 meters which also ranks sixth in program history. He also finished first in the long jump with another CC-qualifying leap of 6.22 meters.
  • Mark Overlander (Marietta, Pa., Donegal) placed second in the pole vault with a CC-qualifying vault of 4.30 meters. The CC-qualifying vault ranks seventh in program history.
FOR THE FOES
  • Dickinson won the meet with 152 points and Franklin & Marshall finished in third with 117.
THE REST OF THE STORY
  • Tyler Trout (Chester Springs, Pa., Owen J. Roberts) finished first in both the 110-meter hurdles and the 400-meter hurdles with two CC-qualifying times. 16.41 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles and 1:00.50 in the 400-meter hurdles.
  • Andres Nunez-Castaneda (Morrisville, Pa., Notre Dame) placed second in both the 200 and 400 with CC-qualifying times. 22.80 seconds in the 200 and 50.50 seconds in the 400.
  • Joaquin Lalama (Quito, Pichincha, Ecuador, Colegio Americano de Quito) came in second in the triple jump with a CC-qualifying leap of 11.63 meters. He also finished third in the high jump with a leap of 1.64 meters.
  • Gianluca LeBlanc (Pipersville, Pa., Palisades) competed in the 100 finishing third with a CC-qualifying time of 11.57 seconds.
  • Kyle Northrup (New Hope, Pa., New Hope-Solebury) finished fourth in the 400 with a CC-qualifying time of 52.69 seconds.
  • Reid Norton (Alexandria, Va., Gonzaga College) placed fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a CC-qualifying time of 1:05.88. He also finished fifth in the high jump with a leap of 1.54 meters. Norton also competed in the javelin placing sixth with a 38.32 meter throw.
  • Maddon McNicholas (Morgantown, Pa., Twin Valley) finished fifth in the 5,000 with a CC-qualifying time of 15:42.74.
  • Jeremy Cruz (Westfield, N.J., Westfield) placed fifth in the javelin with a CC-qualifying throw of 43.29 meters.
  • Stefano Orlando (Norwalk, Conn., New Canaan) came in fifth in the long jump with a CC-qualifying leap of 5.50 meters.
  • Nick Glass (Haworth, N.J., Northern Valley Regional-Demarest) competed in the 100 finishing sixth with a CC-qualifying time of 11.85 seconds.
THE INSIDE STORY
  • Hunter, Trout, Nunez-Castaneda, and Leblanc combined to place second in the 4x100 relay with a time of 43.49 seconds.
  • Trout, Leblanc, Northrup, and Nunez-Castaneda finished second in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:31.61.
  • Craig, Mick Lorenger (Alexandria, Va., Thomas Edison), Isaac Parks-Gill (Lewistown, Pa., Mifflin County), and David Magill (Mamaroneck, N.Y., Rye) came in third in the 4x800 relay with a time of 8:30.48.
  • Robby Allen (Sparta, N.J., ) competed in the high jump placing fourth with a leap of 1.64 meters.
  • Mick Lorenger (Alexandria, Va., Thomas Edison) competed in the 1500 placing fourth with a time of 4:14.76 while Austin Hudak finished right behind in fifth with a time of 4:17.73.
  • Jayden Craig (Westminster, Md., Westminster) came in fourth in the 800 with a time of 2:02.92.
  • Isaac Parks-Gill (Lewistown, Pa., Mifflin County) finished fifth in the 800 with a time of 2:07.56.
  • Andrew Oshetski (Freeport, Maine, Freeport) placed fifth in the shot put with a throw of 11.08 meters. He also finished eighth in the hammer with a toss of 23.01 meters. Oshetski also competed in the discus throw placing ninth with a 28.15 meter toss.
  • Pat Zoccolillo (New Canaan, Conn., New Canaan) finished seventh in the 200 with a time of 24.01 seconds. He also competed in the 400 finishing fifth with a time of 54.55 seconds.
  • Matthew Kurek (Collegeville, Pa., La Salle College) came in seventh in the steeplechase (dry: no water) with a time of 11:22.25.
  • Dominic DiLuzio (Chadds Ford, Pa., Garnet Valley) competed in the 5,000 finishing ninth with a time of 16:29.23. Colin Carpenter finished right behind him in 10th with a time of 16:31.06 while Andrew Ersin placed 12th with a time of 17:17.29.
  • Rouri Takahashi placed 11th in the 200 with a time of 26.24 seconds.
  • Matthew Wagner (Downingtown, Pa., Downingtown STEM Academy) finished 14th in the 1500 with a time of 4:47.40 with James Higinbotham finishing right behind him in 15th with a time of 4:51.22.
