THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg, ranked 21st in the latest NFCA Div. III coaches' poll, needed extra innings in both games but came away with a sweep of Bridgewater, taking game one 2-1 before grabbing the nightcap, 5-3.

THE LEADERS
Paige Forry (Reading, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) picked up the win for the Bullets in both games, going the distance in game one with eight strikeouts before throwing the final two innings of game two.
Zoe Brennan (Arlington, Va./Yorktown) had a career-high three hits in the second game.

FOR THE FOES
• McKenna Muller led the Eagles with two hits and drove in the lone run of game one.

THE REST OF THE STORY
Audrey Bergan (Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Calif./La Jolla Country Day School) led off game one with a triple before scoring on a one-out Elliana Hopple (Collegeville, Pa./The Episcopal Academy) double for an early 1-0 lead.
• That advantage held until the bottom of the seventh when Jadelyn Ramirez led off with a pinch-hit single. After moving to second on a sacrifice, McKenna Muller singled her home to tie the game.
• With Jamie Shaw (Mt. Airy, Md./Glenelg) at second to start the eighth, Hopple bunted her to third and Morgan DeFreitas (Coatesville, Pa./Downingtown West) singled to left to break the tie. The Eagles bunted the would-be tying run to third to start the bottom of the frame but Paige Forry recorded strikeouts No. 7 and 8 to cap the 2-1 win.
• In the nightcap, Kaelyn Ramsey poked a one-out double in the bottom of the first before taking third on a wild pitch and scoring on a Jordan Wise single up the middle.
• The Bullet drew even in the fourth when Hopple led off with a double and scored on a two-out Anika Pelekis (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) single up the middle.
• The Eagles answered in the bottom of the inning. A one-out Leiah Branch single, stolen base and Lexi Schaaf double down the line made it 2-1.
• A Renee Laczkowski (Erie, Colo./Erie) one-out home run in the sixth retied the game at 2-all.
• With Gabby Wood (Dalton, Pa./Tunkannock Area) at second to start the eighth, Pelekis singled to put runners at the corners with one out before Lauren O'Leary (Manasquan, N.J./Jackson Memorial) doubled into right for a 3-2 lead. A Lily Mader (Las Vegas, Nev./Valley) sacrifice fly and Zoe Brennan single through the right side made it 5-2.
• A pair of groundouts in the bottom of the inning set the final margin.

THE INSIDE STORY
• In game one, Audrey Bergan, Jamie Shaw and Morgan DeFreitas all had two hits.
• In addition to Zoe Brennan's three-hit game two, Anika Pelekis also had three hits while Bergan and Lauren O'Leary added a pair.
