OPENING DRAW: Today's non-conference game marks the 28th all-time meeting between No. 4 Gettysburg (7-1) and No. 12 College of New Jersey (5-1) in a series that dates back to 2000. The Lions lead the all-time series 17-10 but the Bullets have won five of the last six meetings. The only TCNJ victory since 2017 was a 16-10 win in Ewing on Mar. 29, 2022.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Gettysburg outscored College of New Jersey in each quarter and held the Lions to just one goal in three of four quarters for a 19-6 victory last season. Julia Daly had a career day with new bests in goals with seven and points with eight. Jordan Basso scored three goals to go with three assists. Ally Tobler led the Lions with a hat trick. LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg, ranked fourth in the latest IWLCA Div. III coaches' poll, used a pair of 7-0 runs to aid in a 17-9 win over Catholic on Thursday. Maddie Passarello led the Bullets with a career-high five goals, scoring on five shots. She also had two ground balls. Henley Bredemann led the Cardinals with two goals, four draw controls, three caused turnovers and two ground balls. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

NO. 4 WITH A BULLET: Gettysburg remained fourth in this week's IWLCA Div. III coaches' poll.

CRAZY 8s: The Bullets have eight players who have scored eight or more games in the first eight games of the season. Julia Daly and Emily Crane lead the way with 22 goals each. Daly has added a team-high 17 assists to pace the squad with 39 points. Crane has added nine helpers for 31 points and also leads the team with 44 draw controls. Sarah Scollin has added 13 goals in her rookie campaign while Maddie Passarello has 12 and Michaela Kelly has chipped in 11 to go with 10 assists. Julie Breedveld (9), Sophie Smith (8) and Grace Battle (8) round out the group.

LAST TIME OUT: Ally Tobler and Julia Charest each reached a major milestone and No. 12 College of New Jersey dominated the bookends of Friday's nationally ranked clash with No. 21 Chicago, starting fast and then pulling away late for a 15-7 victory.  (Full Recap) (Box Score)

MILESTONES ALL AROUND: Ally Tobler scored four goals on Friday, the last coming with 59 seconds remaining to give her 300 points for her career. Julia Charest surpassed 400 career saves with the eighth of her dozen stops to help the Lions bounce back from their first defeat of the season and notch their first ranked victory of the season.
