OPENING FACEOFF: Today's Centennial Conference (CC) game marks the 26th all-time meeting between No. 9 Gettysburg (8-3, 4-0 CC) and Ursinus (4-8, 2-3 CC) in a series that dates back to 2003. The Bullets lead the all-time series 24-1. The lone Bear win came in the 2019 conference title game, 10-8.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Gettysburg outscored Ursinus in three of the four quarters to forge a 14-9 win in the Centennial Conference opener for both teams last season. Jack Dunleavy tallied a eight points on four goals and four assists. Drake Kasoff scored two goals for the Bears to go with two ground balls. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg scored three of the last four goals that included a game-winner in the final minute of overtime to defeat No. 17 Dickinson 13-12 on Wednesday. Andy Marquet led the Bullets with a goal, seven ground balls and four caused turnovers. Landen Hyatt and Ramsey Huggins led the Red Devils with three goals apiece. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

NO. 9 WITH A BULLET: Gettysburg fell to No. 9 the latest USILA Div. III coaches' poll after splitting a pair of road games last week. 

THANK YOU, SENIORS!: The Bullets will honor their nine seniors this afternoon. Over the last four years, the group has led Gettysburg to a 45-24 overall record that includes a 20-8 mark in Centennial Conference play. The Orange and Blue has made the conference tournament each year with two championship game appearances and two NCAA berths.

ON A ROLL: With a victory over Dickinson on Wednesday - Gettysburg's first regular-season victory over the Red Devils since 2019 - the Bullets remained tied for first place in the conference standings at the halfway point with a 4-0 record. Gettysburg officially clinches a playoff spot with one more win.

LAST TIME OUT: Ursinus dropped a 17-7 contest to No. 18 Swarthmore on Wednesday night. Senior Christopher Pucciarelli opened the scoring 52 seconds into the game to put the Bears up 1-0. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

WHERE THEY RANK: The Bears are playing their third straight top-20 team this afternoon. Ursinus is 0-3 so far this season against ranked foes. The Bears dropped a 20-4 decision to RIT in State College back on Mar. 8 before falling twice in the last week to ranked opponents in the conference. Dickinson recorded a 17-6 win in Collegeville last Saturday before Swarthmore took down Ursinus 17-7 on Patterson Field Wednesday night. This will be the Bears' first true road game against a ranked team.
