OPENING DRAW: Today's Centennial Conference (CC) game marks the 55th all-time meeting between No. 4 Gettysburg (13-2, 5-1 CC) and McDaniel (6-9, 0-6 CC) in a series that dates back to 1971. The Bullets lead the all-time series 45-9 and have won the last 26 meetings. The Green Terror's last victory came by a 13-12 margin on Apr. 14, 1998.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Gettysburg scored 15 straight goals to break a 4-3 game wide open and secure the top seed in the 2024 Centennial Conference tournament with a 21-5 win over McDaniel last season. LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg, ranked fourth, went on a 4-0 run that spanned both sides of halftime to open up a six-goal lead and defeat Swarthmore 17-8 on Saturday. Julia Daly led the Bullets with six goals and one assist. She also had a ground ball and caused turnover. Emily Crane added two goals to go with 10 draw controls, a ground ball and caused turnover. NO. 4 WITH A BULLET: Gettysburg remained at fourth in this week's IWLCA Div. III coaches' poll.

WHAT'S THE SCENARIO?: The Bullets have officially locked up a home game in next week's Centennial Conference tournament. Gettysburg secures a bye into the semifinals with a victory this afternoon.

HEY, HEY NINER: Junior Julia Daly earned Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season on Tuesday. She scored 15 points in the last two games on 11 goals and four assists. She currently leads the team with 45 goals, 29 assists and 74 points. She moved into the program's all-time top 10 in goals, recording 174 for her career. She is nine points from joining that top-10 list too.

LAST TIME OUT: Junior Kat Thayer scored her fourth goal of the game less than three minutes into overtime to lift McDaniel to a 12-11 win over Bridgewater on Saturday. The Green Terror picked up their first overtime win since a 19-18 victory over Swarthmore at home on April 21, 2018. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

CHALLENING: McDaniel enters today's action as the lowest scoring offense in the Centennial Conference, averaging just 8.87 goals per game. That average falls to just 6.00 goals over the Green Terror's first six conference games. Saturday was the first time since scoring 14 against Wis.-Eau Claire on Mar. 16 that McDaniel had reached double digits offensively. The Green Terror has scored five or fewer goals in five games this season. The majority of the team's scoring is concentrated in four players with 20 or more goals each led by Kat Thayer's 33 goals and 21 assists. She is the only player with more than six helpers on the team.
