THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg competed in the Paul Kaiser Classic as final showing before Conference action begins setting three new all-time top-ten finishes.
THE LEADERS
- Jack Regentin (Gettysburg, Pa., Biglerville) led the Bullets with an eighth place finish in the shot put with a season-best and Centennial Conference (CC)-qualifying throw of 15.50 meters which ranks second in program history. He also competed in the hammer throw finishing 16th with a CC-qualifying toss of 42.62 meters and finished 18th in discus with another CC-qualifying toss fo 41.86 meters.
- Maddon McNicholas (Morgantown, Pa., Twin Valley) placed fifth in the 3,000 with a season-best time of 9:02.90 which ranks fourth in program history.
- Austin Hudak (Boonton Twp., N.J., Mountain Lakes) came in ninth in the 3,000 with a season-best time of 9:19.00 which ranks eighth in program history.
FOR THE FOES
- It was a non-scoring meet.
THE REST OF THE STORY
- Rouri Takahashi came in 23rd in the 400 with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 52.86 seconds. He also placed 55th in the 200 with a season-best 24.23 seconds.
- Jeremy Cruz (Westfield, N.J., Westfield) finished 23rd in javelin with a season-best and CC-qualifying throw of 45.50 meters.
- Nick Glass (Haworth, N.J., Northern Valley Regional-Demarest) placed 43rd in the 100 meter prelims with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 11.50 seconds however, he did not start in the finals. He also finished 58th in the 200 with a season-best time of 24.28 seconds
- Aidan Kiernan (Pelham Manor, N.Y., Pelham Memorial) came in 56th in the 100 meter prelims with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 11.73 seconds however, he did not start in the finals.
- Pat Zoccolillo (New Canaan, Conn., New Canaan) competed in the 100 meter prelims finishing 57th with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 11.77 seconds however, he did not start in the finals. He also finished 52nd in the 200 with a time of 24.19 seconds.
- Jayden Craig (Westminster, Md., Westminster) finished tenth in the steeplechase with a CC-qualifying time of 10:29.04.
- Liam O'Meara (Ridgewood, N.J., Ridgewood) placed 13th in the pole vault with a CC-qualifying vault of 4.35 meters.
- Andres Nunez-Castaneda (Morrisville, Pa., Notre Dame) came in 16th in the 400 with a CC-qualifying time of 51.08 seconds. He also placed 17th in the 200 with a CC-qualifying time of 22.90 seconds.
- Dom Roussos (West Hartford, Conn., Hall) competed in javelin finishing 17th with a CC-qualifying toss of 49.24 meters.
- Kyle Northrup (New Hope, Pa., New Hope-Solebury) finished 21st in the 400 with a CC-qualifying time of 52.39 seconds.
- Reid Norton (Alexandria, Va., Gonzaga College) placed 27th in long jump with a CC-qualifying jump of 5.80 meters. He also competed in discus placing 35th with a toss of 25.37 meters.
- Ben Cole (Wilmington, Del., Archmere Academy) came in 14th in the 3,000 with a season-best time of 10:38.47.
- Dominic DiLuzio (Chadds Ford, Pa., Garnet Valley) competed in the 5,000 placing 17th with a season-best time of 16:25.61.
- Robby Allen (Sparta, N.J., ) finished 24th in the high jump with a season-best leap of 1.65 meters.
- David Magill (Mamaroneck, N.Y., Rye) placed 45th in the 800 with a season-best time of 2:04.61.
- Aidan Martin (Middleburgh, N.Y., Middleburgh) came in 61st in the 1500 with a season-best time of 5:59.92.
- James Higinbotham (Frederick, Md., Gov. Thomas Johnson) competed in the 800 finishing 82nd with a season-best time of 2:21.67.
THE INSIDE STORY
- Matthew Kurek (Collegeville, Pa., La Salle College) finished 18th in the steeplechase with a time of 11:13.10.
- Mick Lorenger (Alexandria, Va., Thomas Edison) placed 22nd in the 1500 with a time of 4:13.55.
- Colin Carpenter (Ridgefield, Conn., Wooster School) came in 22nd in the 5,000 with a time of 16:38.80.
- Andrew Oshetski (Freeport, Maine, Freeport) competed in shot put finishing 26th with a toss of 11.29 meters. He also placed 33rd in discus with a throw of 29.58 meters.
- Andrew Ersin (Wynnewood, Pa., Lower Merion) finished 34th in the 5,000 with a time of 17:40.55.
- Isaac Parks-Gill (Lewistown, Pa., Mifflin County) placed 71st in the 800 with a time of 2:12.38.
