THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg scored 83 points to place fourth at Millersville Metrics. The Bullets tallied two all-time top-ten finishes and seven top-three placements.
THE LEADERS
- Jack Regentin (Gettysburg, Pa., Biglerville) led the Bullets with a second place finish in discus with a season-best and Centennial Conference (CC)-qualifying toss of 51.22 meters which ranks second in program history. He also had a second place finish in the shot put with a CC-qualifying throw of 14.90 meters as well as a CC-qualifying throw of 38.09 meters to place ninth in hammer throw.
- Maddon McNicholas (Morgantown, Pa., Twin Valley) finished second in the 10,000 with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 32:42.81 which ranks seventh in program history.
- Tyler Trout (Chester Springs, Pa., Owen J. Roberts) came in first in the 400-meter hurdles with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 57.15 seconds. He also finished fifth in the 110-meter hurdles prelims qualifying for the finals with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 16.22 seconds. In the finals he finished fifth with a CC-qualifying time of 16.30 seconds.
- Liam O'Meara (Ridgewood, N.J., Ridgewood) took first in pole vault with a season-best and CC-qualifying vault of 4.45 meters.
FOR THE FOES
- Messiah won the meet with 107 points with Shippensburg in second with 97 and Eastern coming in third with 86.
THE REST OF THE STORY
- Kyle Northrup (New Hope, Pa., New Hope-Solebury) finished second in the 400 with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 51.99 seconds. He also had a season-best time of 24.00 seconds flat placing 23rd in the 200.
- Dom Roussos (West Hartford, Conn., Hall) came in fifth in javelin with a season-best and CC-qualifying throw of 54.82 meters.
- Dominic DiLuzio (Chadds Ford, Pa., Garnet Valley) placed seventh in the 10,000 with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 33:54.79.
- Gianluca LeBlanc (Pipersville, Pa., Palisades) competed in the 200 finishing ninth with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 23.23 seconds.
- Colin Carpenter (Ridgefield, Conn., Wooster School) finished ninth in the 10,000 with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 34:26.00.
- Jayden Craig (Westminster, Md., Westminster) came in 10th in the steeplechase with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 10:26.63.
- Andrew Oshetski (Freeport, Maine, Freeport) placed 14th in the shot put with a season-best and CC-qualifying throw of 12.18 meters. He also had a season-best throw of 27.52 meters to place 24th in hammer. Oshetski finished 42nd in discus with a toss of 26.27 meters.
- Mick Lorenger (Alexandria, Va., Thomas Edison) competed in the 800 finished 15th with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 2:01.63.
- Reid Norton (Alexandria, Va., Gonzaga College) finished 16th in the long jump with a season-best and CC-qualifying leap of 5.59 meters. He also placed 22nd in javelin with a season-best and CC-qualifying throw of 40.94 meters.
- Pat Zoccolillo (New Canaan, Conn., New Canaan) came in 30th in the 100 meter prelims with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 11.94 seconds however, he did not start in the finals.
- Eli Steel (York, Pa., York Country Day School) placed sixth in both the long jump and triple jump tallying two CC-qualifying leaps; 6.16 meters (long jump) and 12.94 meters (triple jump).
- Trey Hunter (Reinholds, Pa., Cocalico) competed in the 100 meter prelims finishing seventh with a CC-qualifying time of 11.33 seconds also qualifying him for the finals. He finished seventh in the finals with another CC-qualifying time of 11.41 seconds. Hunter also placed 13th in the 200 with a CC-qualifying time of 23.39 seconds.
- Jeremy Cruz (Westfield, N.J., Westfield) finished 16th in the javelin with a CC-qualifying toss of 42.85 meters.
- Gianluca LeBlanc (Pipersville, Pa., Palisades) placed 18th in the 100 meter prelims with a CC-qualifying time of 11.68 seconds however, he did not start in the finals.
THE INSIDE STORY
- Hunter, O'Meara, Zoccolillo, and Leblanc combined for a season-best 43.96 second 4x100 relay finish to place third.
- Zoccolillo, Rouri Takahashi, Isaac Parks-Gill (Lewistown, Pa., Mifflin County), and Lorenger finished sixth in the 4x400 relay with a season-best time of 3:39.03.
- Andrew Ersin (Wynnewood, Pa., Lower Merion) placed 11th in the 10,000 with a season-best time of 35:43.52.
- Matthew Kurek (Collegeville, Pa., La Salle College) came in 16th in the steeplechase with a season-best time of 11:11.77.
- Matthew Wagner (Downingtown, Pa., Downingtown STEM Academy) competed in the 1500 finishing 17th with a season-best time of 4:33.00.
- Isaac Parks-Gill (Lewistown, Pa., Mifflin County) finished 22nd in the 1500 with a season-best time of 4:35.98.
- Andres Nunez-Castaneda (Morrisville, Pa., Notre Dame) placed 28th in the 800 with a season-best time of 2:06.86.
- Rouri Takahashi competed in the 100 meter prelims finishing 53rd with a season-best time of 12.62 seconds however, he did not start in the finals.
