SPARKS, Md. – Two seniors on the Gettysburg women's lacrosse team have been selected as a member of the Blue Team and will participate in the 2025 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association (IWLCA) Senior All-Star Game.
The Division I, II and III Senior All-Star games will be held on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. on Saturday. The Division II teams will play the first game at 10 a.m. followed by the Division III game at 12:30 p.m. The Division I teams will cap off the event at 3 p.m. Admission for all three games is free of charge.
Emily Crane (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) and
Lily Macatee (Street, Md./North Harford) will take part in the game.
Macatee, a defender, earned her fourth straight all-conference honor, including third on the first team. A four-time all-region selection three-time All-American, she was also the Centennial Conference (CC) Defensive Player of the Year for the second time in 2025. Starting all 22 games she played, she was second on the team with 92 draw controls and finished her career with 347 for the most in program and CC history. She was also second on the team with 35 ground balls and fourth with 20 caused turnovers. She added an assist against York (Pa.) on Mar. 15. She has eight games this season with five or more draw controls, including corralling 12 against College of New Jersey on Mar. 26.
Crane, an attacker, was an all-region selection in 2025. A two-time all-conference performer, she started all 23 games. She was second on the team with 59 goals and 77 points. She also added 18 assists. She led the team with 127 draw controls on the year and chipped in 31 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers. She had 19 multi-goal games this season and corralled seven or more draw controls in 10 games.
The Gettysburg duo is among eight CC seniors to earn the honor of playing in the prestigious event.
