NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced its 2025 Academic Honor Roll on Wednesday, and eight Gettysburg student-athletes were among the honorees.
The individual honors come in addition to the Bullets being honored for its success in the classroom. Gettysburg was one of 181 Division III teams, including all 10 Centennial Conference programs, to earn the distinction of an Academic Honor Squad with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2.
Graduated seniors
Lily Macatee (Street, Md./North Harford),
Lauren O'Connell (Winchester, Mass./Winchester) and
Sophie Smith (Great Falls, Va./Langley) as well as rising seniors
Lauren Bloch (Westfield, N.J./Westfield),
Julie Breedveld (Wayne, Pa./Radnor),
Julia Daly (McLean, Va./Langley),
Camryn Epstein (Medford, N.J./Shawnee) and
Maddie Passarello (West Chester, Pa./Unionville) were honored.
Macatee, O'Connell and Smith graduated in May with degrees in business, organizations, and management. Breedveld, Daly and Passarello are also all business, organizations, and management majors while Bloch is an economics/public policy major and Epstein is a health sciences major.
In total, 1,284 student-athletes from 201 different institutions were honored. Students were nominated by their schools and have achieved at least junior status academically and a grade-point average of 3.5.
