THE SKINNY STORY
Dickinson, ranked 16th in the latest USILA Div. III coaches' poll, scored five straight goals in the third and fourth quarter to take a 12-9 lead and defeat No. 7 Gettysburg 13-11 in the 2025 Centennial Conference men's lacrosse championship game.
THE LEADERS

Jackson Alpaugh (Darien, Conn./Westminster School) led the Bullets with four goals to give him seven in two conference tournament games.
FOR THE FOES
• Rocco Bognet made nine saves – eight of which came after halftime – to pace the Red Devils and earn most valuable player honors.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Preston Boyd staked Dickinson to a 1-0 lead just 3:06 into the game before
Will Hedley (Charlotte, N.C./The Hotchkiss School) connected with
Jackson Alpaugh directly off the ensuing faceoff to tie the game just 10 seconds later. Landen Hyatt and Ramsey Huggins each found the back of the net 45 seconds apart for a 3-1 Red Devil advantage with 6:52 on the clock. Alpaugh trimmed the margin back, finishing a feed from
Benny Kasoff (Leesburg, Va./Riverside) before Charlie Baughan stretched the lead back to two.
Jackson Barroll (Annapolis, Md./Severn School) and Baughan traded markers in the final 2:04 of the quarter for a 5-3 Dickinson lead.
• Hedley added a goal to his first-quarter helper in the opening minute of the second period before
Declan Mack (Wynnewood, Pa./Lower Marion) drew the game even with 12:21 showing. Hyatt and Baughan responded with back-to-back tallies of their own before a Barroll man-up tally and two more from Alpaugh gave Gettysburg its first lead at 8-7 with 3:10 to play in the opening half.

Patrick Maroney (Hingham, Mass./Boston College H.S.) whistled home a solo marker for a 9-7 advantage just 2:22 into the third quarter before the Red Devils reeled off the next five to take control back. Two Hyatt tallies just 2 minutes, 35 seconds apart tied the game with 6:54 to play in the third before Luke Whalen put the visitors in front for good just over three minutes later.
• Two Huggins goals made it a 12-9 game with 6:34 to play before
Jack Dunleavy (New Providence, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) and
Ethan Kessler (Ridgefield, Conn./Millbrook School) sandwiched a Whalen empty-net goal for the 13-11 final.
THE INSIDE STORY
• The Red Devils had a 38-35 edge in shots and won 16 of 27 faceoffs.

Brian Delduchetto (Weston, Mass./Weston) led the Bullet defense with three caused turnovers and two ground balls.
• For Dickinson, it was the Red Devils' fourth straight conference title.

Gettysburg will need an at-large bid into the NCAA tournament, which begins on with eight first-round games on Wednesday, and will learn its opening opponent when the field is released on Sunday night.
