THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg finished 11th with a two-round total of 714 at the George Phinney Classic hosted by Middlebury. The Bullets fired a round of 355 in the opening round on Saturday before carding a round of 359 on Sunday.
THE LEADERS
•
Chloe Barton (Tilghman, Md./Blair Academy [N.J.]) led the Bullets with score of 167, finishing tied for 36th. She opened the weekend with a round of 80 before carding a round of 87 on Sunday.
FOR THE FOES
• Amherst won the 12-team invitational with a score of 622 (314-308). The Mammoths had the top two individual finishers, including individual champion Emma Lindemoen, who carded a 36-hole score of 151 (77-74).
THE REST OF THE STORY
•
Lucy Barton (Tilghman, Md./Blair Academy [N.J.]) posted a 36-hole score of 178 to place 52nd. She improved off her opening-round score of 91 with a second-round total of 87.

Nikki Hall (Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull) was 55th overall with a score of 183 that included a round of 89 on Saturday. She wrapped up the tournament with a second-round score of 94.

Natalie Boyd (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon) finished 57th with a total of 186, posting a round of 95 on Saturday and 91 on Sunday.

Caitlin Mullen (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side) turned in a round of 97 on Saturday.

Gettysburg returns to action at the Hamilton Fall Invitational on Oct. 4 and 5. The Bullets who do not compete at Rome Country Club will compete at the Dickinson Fall Invitational on Oct. 4.
