THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg bunched its top seven runners between fourth and 11th place to win its second straight Little 3 championship, defeating Dickinson and Franklin & Marshall with 33 points.
THE LEADERS
•
Rowe Crawford (Swarthmore, Pa./Strath Haven) led the pack of Bullet runners with a fourth-place finish and time of 18:50.5 over the 5,000-meter home course.
FOR THE FOES
• Franklin & Marshall finished second with 42 points while Dickinson was third with 57 points behind individual race winner Liza Barbash and her time of 18:10.8.
THE REST OF THE STORY
•
Elyse Tancini (Collegeville, Pa. / Perkiomen Valley) crossed the line fifth with a time of 18:53.5.
•
Anna Hendrickson (Sykesville, Md. / Marriotts Ridge) was seventh with a time of 19:30.2, starting a run of five straight Gettysburg runners across the finish line.

Sara Lessard (Sharon, Mass./Sharon) finished eighth with a time of 19:46.4 while
Ava Romano (Middletown, N.J./Middletown South) placed ninth with a time of 19:50.3.

Sarah Smith (West Chester, Pa./Unionville) was 10th (19:56.4) while
Eliza Hoover (Mahwah, N.J./Academy of the Holy Angels) was 11th (19:59.7).

Cassidy Gorham (15th, 20:23.7),
Abbey Woodcome (20th, 21:10.3),
Kyla Lorden (22nd, 21:15.1),
Jess McLaughlin (28th, 21:49.8),
Danielle Fritchman (29th, 22:16.6),
Julia Brock (30th, 22:28.8),
Megan McArthur (34th, 23:40.5) rounded out the competitors for the Bullets.
THE INSIDE STORY
• A total of 35 runners competed.
•
Rowe Crawford and Elise Tancini had the Bullets' sixth and seventh fastest times at Little 3. The duo also posted the top two times on the 5,000-meter Gettysburg course.
