THE REST OF THE STORY
• Tied at 5-all in the opening set with Tufts, a service error gave the serve to the Jumbos and sparked a 6-0 run behind a pair of Matsa Shi aces. The run extended to 11-1, building a 16-6 lead en route to a 25-12 opening set win.
• The teams traded mini-runs early in the second set. Tied at 10-all after an

• The third set featured 15 ties and eight lead changes. Trailing 23-20, an Akepevwe Akpoigbe kill and Clair Castor ace cut the deficit to one. Emma Heckman then put down a ball for the tying point before an attack error and Rianna Liu kill capped a 5-0 finish for a 25-20 victory and the sweep.
• Against Salisbury, the hosts jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the first set before extended the advantage to 10-2 en route to a 25-10 victory.

Kierra Fox (Phoenix, Ariz./Rancho Solano Prep School) aces. Trailing 15-7, a Kiley McTaggart kill started a run of seven straight points to pull within 15-14. The Bullets held the advantage until a Gwen Eustace block tied the set at 18-all. A
Clare Farrell (Livingston, N.J./Academy of St. Elizabeth) kill and two from
Erin Gonzalez (Cincinnati, Ohio/Ursuline Academy) put Gettysburg back in front 22-20 but the Sea Gulls responded with five of the last six points for a 25-20 victory.
• The third set started back-and-forth but a McTaggert kill started a 9-5 stretch that slowly built a 15-9 advantage. Another five straight points extended the lead to 20-10 and Salisbury finished off the sweep, 25-16.
