Four Gettysburg players earn preseason All-America nod

BALTIMORE, Md. – Four members of the Gettysburg women's lacrosse have been named Division III Preseason All-Americans by USA Lacrosse Magazine, released on Tuesday.

Julia Daly (McLean, Va./Langley) was tabbed a first-team preseason selection while Grace Battle (Lynchburg, Va./Virginia Episcopal School) was a third-team preseason nod. Michaela Kelly (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) and Sarah Scollin (Oreland, Pa./Springside Chestnut Hill Academy) claimed honorable mention preseason accolades.

Daly, an attacker, was first-team All-Centennial Conference (CC) selection for the second straight year. A first-team all-region and second-team All-American, she started all 23 games and led the team with 64 goals, 51 assists and 115 points. She recorded 12 hat tricks last season and tallied four or more points in 16 contests, including a career-high 11 on six goals and five assists against Ursinus on Apr. 5. She also led the team with 26 caused turnovers and added 35 ground balls and two draw controls.

Battle was a selected to the third team as a draw specialist. A key member of the draw team as a rookie in 2025, she started all 23 games. She finished third on the team with 86 draw controls while contributing 21 goals and seven assists to the attack. She won five or more draws in 10 games last season and had five multiple-goal games. She netted five markers in an overtime win over Salisbury on Mar. 8 and grabbed nine draws at Haverford on Apr. 12. She also added 13 ground balls and eight caused turnovers.

Kelly, an attacker, was an honorable mention All-CC nod in 2025. She played in all 23 games with one start, ranking second on the team with 39 assists. She was also third on the team with 66 points. She chipped in 27 goals while adding 22 ground balls and nine caused turnovers. She registered three or more points in 11 games, including dishing out five assists at Haverford on Apr. 12.

Scollin, a midfielder, was a second-team all-conference selection and the 2025 CC Rookie of the Year. Appearing in all 23 games with 11 starts, she finished fourth on the team 46 points. Her 30 goals were fourth on the squad while her 16 assists also ranked fourth. She also added 23 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers. She found the back of the net multiple times in 12 games while registering three or more points in nine contests.

The Bullets, ranked fourth in both the IWLCA and USA Lacrosse Magazine preseason polls, open the season at home against Denison on Saturday, Feb. 21. Game time is 1 p.m.
