THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg used a quick 12-0 run in the second half to open up an 18-point and defeat Washington (Md.) 79-64 for its sixth straight victory.

THE LEADERS
Ray Zamloot (Caldwell, N.J./James Caldwell) led the Bullets with his ninth-straight double-digit scoring game and second 20-point performance of the year with a career-high 23. He also had five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Caleb Gillus (Falls Church, Va./Sidwell Friends School [D.C.]) added 18 points in the victory.

FOR THE FOES
• Jaedon Harris led the Shoremen with 15 points on 6 of 7 shooting.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• After a Davis Bland jumper gave Washington a 2-0 lead in the game's first minute, an Aidan Mess (Columbia, Md./Mt. St. Joseph) dunk sparked an 8-0 Gettysburg counter to go up six with 14:06 on the clock. A Nolan Waldon jumper cut the margin to 10-6 with 12:45 showing before Lorenzo Carrara (Norwood, Mass./Xaverian Brothers) and Caleb Gillus combined for another eight straight points in just shy of two minutes for an 18-6 lead. The run extended to 20-6 over 8 minutes, 4 seconds capped by a Gillus fadeaway for a 30-12 lead with 3:38 to play in the opening half. The Shoremen tallied seven of the final nine points in the half, including a single Nolan Waldon free throw with 4.5 seconds left to close the deficit to 32-19 at the break.
• After an Alex Grospe (South River, N.J./South River) 3-pointer put Gettysburg in front 37-23, one Ty Woodland free throw with 16:29 on the clock sparked a 12-4 burst in a 2-minute, 50-second stretch to pull within 41-35 but four triples on four consecutive possessions pushed the lead back to 18 with 11:33 to play. The Shoremen countered with another 10-3 stretch over 2:34 to pull back within 56-45 but that was as close as the hosts could get over the final 8:21. Despite going 8 minutes, 11 seconds without a field goal, Gettysburg did go 7-for-10 from the charity stripe until a Gillus layup made it 65-51 with 3:32 to play. Two Gillus free throws with 39 ticks left extended the lead to 77-59 before five straight Washington points and two Gillus free throws set the final margin.
