Franklin & Marshall outscored Gettysburg 41-28 in the second half to record a 76-58 win and claim the No. 4 seed in next week's conference tournament.
THE LEADERS

Carson Kasmer (Narbeth, Pa./Lower Marion) led the Bullets with a season-best 12 points to go with two assists.

Reece Craft (Downingtown, Pa./Devon Prep) added 10 points and six rebounds.

• Kevin Nowoswiat led the Diplomats with 29 points and seven rebounds.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• After Vakaris Grauslys hit a layup on Franklin & Marshall's opening possession,
Josh Herr (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) hit a layup and steal-and-dunk for a 4-2 Gettysburg edge with 17:34 to play. A Sean Donahue layup and Kevin Nowoswiat triple gave the Diplomats a 7-4 edge three minutes later. The hosts extended the lead to as large as 17-10 midway through the opening half but a 7-1 counter closed the deficit to one with 7:37 on the clock. Clinging to a 22-21 lead after two Herr free throws with 5:40 showing, four points from Nowoswiat helped extend the lead back to six nearly two minutes later. The Diplomats maintained a lead between four and seven points the rest of the half, taking a 35-30 lead into the break.

Carson Kasmer bookended an 8-0 start to the second half with a pair of 3-pointers to take a 38-35 lead with 17:02 to play. The Bullets extended the lead to as large as 44-38 on a
Vule Sukovic (Belgrade, Serbia/Taft School [Conn.]) with 13:17 to play. Four points from Nowoswiat around a Grauslys layup tied the game at 44-all with 11:43 showing. Tied at 46-all, Franklin Jones hit a layup with 9:57 to play to spark a 9-0 run that put Franklin & Marshall in control the rest of the way. The Diplomats ultimately outscored Gettysburg 30-12 over the final 10 minutes.
THE INSIDE STORY

Ray Zamloot (Caldwell, N.J./James Caldwell) had his streak of 14 straight games with double-digit points snapped as Franklin & Marshall ended Gettysburg's 11-game winning streak.
•
Aidan Mess (Columbia, Md./Mt. St. Joseph) pulled down 13 rebounds as part of a 36-29 advantage on the glass.
