Gettysburg earns two medals at Indoor Champs

THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg scored 44 points to finish seventh at the 2026 Indoor Centennial Conference Championship hosted by Franklin & Marshall. The Bullets also snagged two medals and eight top-10 all-time finishes.

THE LEADERS
  • Georgia Mercer (Elkton, Md., Rising Sun) led the Bullets with a bronze medal in the Pentathlon with 2,812 points which ranks second in program history and is a new personal best for Mercer. She finished first in shot put with a person-best 10.29 meters and sixth in high jump with a personal-best leap of 1.38 meters among her performances in the five-event multi. Mercer also competed in the 60-meter hurdles prelims finishing 14th with a time of 11 seconds however, she did not start in the finals.
  • Lillian Judge (Beverly, Mass., Beverly) earned the Bullets their second medal of the day with a bronze in the high jump with a 1.54 meter leap. She also competed in the pentathlon finishing fifth with 2,707 points which ranks third in program history. Among her finishes in the five-event multi she placed first in high jump with a jump of 1.53 meters which ranks tied for tenth in program history as well as coming in second in the 800 with a season-best 2:33.50. Judge also competed in the 60-meter hurdles prelims finishing 12th with a time of 10.59 seconds however, she did not start in the finals.
     
FOR THE FOES
  • Johns Hopkins won the title with 277 points, Ursinus finished second with 108.5 points, while Franklin & Marshall placed third with 66 points.
     
THE REST OF THE STORY
  • Caroline Gensinger (Cream Ridge, N.J., Allentown) placed eighth in shot put with a personal-best throw of 11.21 meters which ranks eighth in program history. She also came in 13th in weight throw with a toss of 12.74 meters.
  • Lea Del Grippo (Cinnaminson, N.J., Cinnaminson) finished eighth in weight throw with a personal-best 13.05 meters which ranks fifth in program history. She also placed 14th in shot put with another personal-best toss of 10.11 meters.
  • Jenna Weylman (Walpole, Mass., Walpole) came in 11th in the 200 with a season-best time of 27.22 seconds which ranks eighth in program history. Weylman also competed in the 60 meter prelims placing 14th with a season-best time of 8.16 seconds which ranks third in program history however, she did not start in the finals.
  • Camryn Rogers (Pittsburgh, Pa., Plum) competed in the 400 finishing 14th with a season-best time of 1:01.90 which ranks eighth in program history.
  • Emma Marden (Dover, Mass., Dover-Sherborn Regional) placed seventh in triple jump with a personal-best leap of 10.13 meters.
  • Madelyn Roberto (Howell, N.J., Howell) finished 19th in pole vault with a personal-best vault of 2.57 meters.
  • Sara Lessard (Sharon, Mass., Sharon) came in seventh in the mile with a season-best time of 5:18.91.
  • Sarah Smith (West Chester, Pa., Unionville) competed in the 5,000 with a season-best time of 18:51.31. She also finished 15th in the 3,000 with another season-best time of 10:40.91.
  • Lillian Boudreau (Adams, Mass., Hoosac Valley) placed ninth in the 200 with a season-best time of 27.22 seconds. She also came in eighth in the 400 with a time of 1:00.09.
  • Ava Romano (Middletown, N.J., Middletown South) finished 11th in the 5,000 with a season-best time of 19:39.74.
  • Theresa Ditri (Huntingdon Valley, Pa., William Tennent) came in 23rd in the 400 with a season-best time of 1:05.64.
  • Anna Hendrickson (Sykesville, Md., Marriotts Ridge) competed in the 3,000 finishing 23rd with a season-best time of 11:02.47.
     
THE INSIDE STORY
  • The quartet of Sara Lessard (Sharon, Mass., Sharon), Bella Yardeni (Port Washington, N.Y., Paul D. Schreiber), Eliza Hoover (Mahwah, N.J., Academy of the Holy Angels) and Anna Hendrickson (Sykesville, Md., Marriotts Ridge) combined to finish fourth in the distance medley relay with a time of 12:56.49.
  • Camryn Rogers (Pittsburgh, Pa., Plum), Yardeni, Hoover and Lillian Boudreau (Adams, Mass., Hoosac Valley) placed fourth in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:09.00.
  • Jenna Weylman (Walpole, Mass., Walpole), Emma Marden (Dover, Mass., Dover-Sherborn Regional), Rogers and Boudreau finished fifth in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 1:48.95.
  • The group of Abbey Woodcome (Hudson, Mass., Hudson), Lessard, Hoover and Hendrickson combined place fifth in the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 10:08.70.
  • Bethany Rolley (Huntingdon, Pa., Huntingdon Area) came in seventh in the pole vault with a height of 3.17 meters.
  • Bella Yardeni (Port Washington, N.Y., Paul D. Schreiber) competed in the 400 coming in 16th with a time of 1:03.60.
  • Eliza Hoover (Mahwah, N.J., Academy of the Holy Angels) placed 16th in the 800 with a time of 2:26.12.
  • Kailey Schissler (Pasadena, Md., Chesapeake) finished 23rd in the 60 meter prelims with a time of 8.61 seconds however, she did not start in the finals.
  • Abbey Woodcome (Hudson, Mass., Hudson) came in 27th in the 3,000 with a time of 11:25.35.
