THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg scored early in both games to sweep LaGrange 3-2 and 8-3 in the final two games of its 10-game trip to Georgia.

THE LEADERS
Morgan DeFreitas (Coatesville, Pa./Downingtown West) had a hit in each game to lead the Bullets.

FOR THE FOES
• Cannon Ramsey led the Panthers with two hits in game two.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• In game one, Morgan DeFreitas led off the second inning with a single before giving way to pinch-runner Jamie Shaw (Mount Airy, Md./Glenelg). After she stole second, and took third on a flyball, Lauren Bickler (Sussex, Wis./Hamilton) drove her in on an infield single before an Abigail Gold (Apex, N.C./Apex) single put runners at the corners. Zoe Brennan (Arlington, Va./Yorktown) doubled home both runners for a 3-0 lead.
• A two-out Addison Gibboney single and Jenna Yeary double made it 3-1 in the fourth.
• Hannah Barnett walked to lead off the seventh before a Bri Totty single and two passed balls cut the margin to 3-2 with two outs but a groundout preserved the win.
Audrey Bergan (Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Calif./La Jolla Country Day School) walked to lead off game two before back-to-back fielder's choices. A DeFreitas single put runners at the corners before Abby Todd (Roebling, N.J./Northern Burlington County Regional), Lily Mader (Las Vegas, Nev./Valley) and Shaw all walked for a 2-0 lead. Bickler followed with a single to push the lead to 3-0.
• Bergan singled to start the second before scoring with one out in the second for a 4-0 lead.
• Bergan walked to lead off the fourth before a single, fielder's choice and error allowed her to score for a 5-0 lead. An RBI groundout plated Anika Pelekis (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) made it a 6-0 game.
• In the fifth, Kate Buckley (Springfield, N.J./Jonathan Dayton) walked and stole second before taking third on a passed ball and scoring on a one-out Ellie Lardiere (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge) pinch-hit triple. A pinch-hit Sydney Goldstein (Villanova, Pa./Harriton) single with two outs plated Lardiere with the eighth run of the game.
• The Panthers avoided the run-rule loss with three runs in the bottom of the fifth. Totty reached on an error to lead off the inning before a walk and bunt single loaded the bases. A passed ball scored Totty before an RBI groundout made it 8-2. Cannon Ramsey singled to right, scoring Addi Grace Dennis to make it an 8-3 game.

THE INSIDE STORY
Audrey Bergan went 1-for-1 with two walks and two runs scored in the nightcap.
