Jackson Barroll got Gettysburg on the board with 9:54 showing before
Patrick Maroney (Hingham, Mass./Boston College H.S.) made it a 4-2 game just over a minute later. After Ryder Maston pushed the lead back to 5-2,
Luke Barbera (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) converted a man-up tally off a pass from
Charlie Johnson (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) with 6:29 remaining. That started a game-changing 5-0 Bullets run that spanned into the second quarter. Barroll scored his second before hitting Johnson to tie game at 5-all with 4:47 on the clock.
Will Hedley (Charlotte, N.C./The Hotchkiss School) scored with 20 ticks remaining to make it 6-5 after one quarter.
•
Matt Maciolek (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) capped the run with 9:06 showing in the second quarter. Mabbs broke up the run with 7:41 showing before a Barroll man-up goal with 3:16 on the clock and then found
Jackson Hearn (Houston, Texas/Episcopal Bellaire) 80 seconds later for a 9-6 halftime lead.
• A second Barbera tally just 2:05 into the third half pushed the advantage to four. Two Clay Almgren markers and a Jack Liss marker made it a 10-9 game with 5:13 to play before Hearn connected with Barroll to extend the lead back to two.
• Hearn then found the back of the net two minutes into the fourth quarter and Johnson finished his second to push the advantage back to four with 11:36 to play in the contest. After Owen Hoffman and Barroll traded goals, Almgren started a three-goal in just 1:54 to close to within 14-13. Barbera and
