THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg scored 135 points to finish second at the 2026 Little 3 Meet to open the Outdoor half of their season. The Bullets finished with one all-time top-ten time.
THE LEADERS
- Lea Del Grippo (Cinnaminson, N.J., Cinnaminson) led the Bullets with a first place finish in discus with a Centennial Conference (CC)-qualifying distance of 35.70 meters which ranks sixth in program history and is a personal-best for her. Del Grippo competed in shot put placing third with another CC-qualifying and personal-best throw of 9.61 meters as well as competing in hammer throw finishing fifth with another personal-best of 23.34 meters. She rounded out her day with fifth place javelin finish adding another CC-qualifying toss of 24.57 meters.
- Camryn Rogers (Pittsburgh, Pa., Plum) placed first in the 400 with a CC-qualifying time of 1:02.15.
- Lillian Boudreau (Adams, Mass., Hoosac Valley) finished first in the 400-meter hurdles with a CC-qualifying time of 1:08.60.
- Caroline Gensinger (Cream Ridge, N.J., Allentown) came in first in hammer with a CC-qualifying throw of 37.97 meters. She added three more CC-qualifying distances with a third place 10.29 meter finish in shot put, a fourth place 29.00 meter finish in discus and a sixth place 21.14 meter finish in javelin which was another personal-best for Gensinger.
- Emma Marden (Dover, Mass., Dover-Sherborn Regional) competed in triple jump finishing first with a CC-qualifying jump of 10.04 meters. She added another CC-qualifying finish in the 100 with a time of 13.75 seconds to place fourth. Marden rounded out her day with a time of 30.04 seconds to place seventh in the 200.
FOR THE FOES
- Franklin & Marshall won the meet with 159 points.
THE REST OF THE STORY
- Lillian Judge (Beverly, Mass., Beverly) placed second in the 400-meter hurdles with a CC-qualifying time of 1:10.61. She added two more CC-qualifying finishes with a second place 1.46 meter finish in high jump and a third place 17.77 second finish in 100-meter hurdles. Judge rounded out her day placed fourth in long jump with a leap of 4.40 meters.
- Anna Hendrickson (Sykesville, Md., Marriotts Ridge) finished second in steeplechase with a CC-qualifying time of 12:22.49.
- Georgia Mercer (Elkton, Md., Rising Sun) came in second in long jump with a CC-qualifying leap of 4.74 meters. She added two more CC-qualifying finishes of 1.41 meters and 18.48 second in high jump (fourth) and 100-meter hurdles (fifth), respectively. Her finish in high jump was also a personal-best.
- Madelyn Roberto (Howell, N.J., Howell) competed in pole vault finishing second with a CC-qualifying height of 2.48 meters.
- Jenna Weylman (Walpole, Mass., Walpole) placed third in the 100 with a CC-qualifying time of 13.19 seconds. She also placed third in the 200 with another CC-qualifying time of 27.40 seconds.
- Abbey Woodcome (Hudson, Mass., Hudson) finished third in steeplechase with a CC-qualifying and personal-best time of 12:47.25.
- Carys Cook (Hendersonville, Tenn., Lauralton Hall (Texas)) came in third in the 5,000 with a CC-qualifying time of 19:00.99.
- Eliza Hoover (Mahwah, N.J., Academy of the Holy Angels) competed in the 800 placing fourth with a CC-qualifying time of 2:29.74.
- Sara Lessard (Sharon, Mass., Sharon) placed fourth in the 1500 with a CC-qualifying time of 5:00.58.
- Sarah Smith (West Chester, Pa., Unionville) finished fourth in the 5,000 with a CC-qualifying time of 19:05.68. Jess McLaughlin (Wilton, Conn., Wilton) finished shortly after in eighth with her own CC-qualifying time of 20:06.65.
THE INSIDE STORY
- Two Gettysburg 'A' Relays came in first in the 4x100 meter relay and 4x400 meter relay with times of 50.74 seconds and 4:08.17, respectively.
- A third 'A' Relay competed in the 4x800 meter relay finishing third with a time of 11:31.78.
- Theresa Ditri (Huntingdon Valley, Pa., William Tennent) placed sixth in the 800 with a time of 2:32.87.
- Ava Romano (Middletown, N.J., Middletown South) finished sixth in the 1500 with a time of 5:20.84.
- Ainsley Kilbreth (Nottingham, N.H., Coe-Brown Northwood Academy) came in sixth in discus with a toss of 25.20 meters.
- Cassidy Gorham (Chicago, Ill., Lake Forest) competed in the 800 placing eighth with a time of 2:38.07.
