Gettysburg used an 11-run fourth inning to break the game wide open and defeat Albright 17-2 on its first game of its eight-game trip to Fort Pierce.

Robert Murphy (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Gov. Livingston) singled. A one-out
Jack Amirata (Montclair, N.J./Montclair Kimberley Academy) double staked Gettysburg to a 2-0 lead before adding a third run on a
Brendan Laqui one-out home run in the second.

Dominick Balsamo (Brooklyn, N.Y./Xaverian) walked to start a 16-batter, 11-run fourth inning. In total, there were four walks and eight hits in the frame.
Mike Coleman (Drexel Hill, Pa./Monsignor Bonner) and Laqui had RBI doubles in the inning while Bercaw added a two-run single and
Will Stellato (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Warde) contributed a two-run triple – all before an out was recorded.
• A Tyler Boccelli leadoff home run in the fifth made it 14-1.
• A Balsamo RBI double and RBI groundouts from Coleman and Laqui stretched the lead to 17-1 in the bottom of the fifth.
• Two errors led to an unearned run in the top of the eighth.
