THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg sent Georgia Mercer and Lillian Judge to compete in the two-day multis meet hosted by Susquehanna. Both added made top-10 all-time marks in their performances.

THE LEADERS

• Georgia Mercer (Elkton, Md., Rising Sun) led the Bullets with a fourth place finish in the heptathlon with Centennial Conference (CC)-qualifying and personal-best score of 3,617 points which ranks third in program history.
• Lillian Judge (Beverly, Mass., Beverly) placed fifth in the heptathlon with a CC-qualifying score of 3,406 points which ranks fifth in program history.

FOR THE FOES

• It was a non-scoring meet.

THE REST OF THE STORY

• Georgia Mercer (Elkton, Md., Rising Sun) finished first in shot put with a CC-qualifying and personal-best toss of 10.23 meters. She added four more CC-qualifying finishes in long jump, high jump, javelin and the 100-meter hurdles. Finishing third in long jump with a personal and season-best time leap of 4.91 meters, fourth in high jump with another personal and season-best leap of 1.42 meters, sixth in javelin with a personal-best toss of 23.84 meters and seventh in the 100-meter hurdles with a personal and season-best time of 18.08 seconds.
• Lillian Judge (Beverly, Mass., Beverly) came in first in high jump with a CC-qualifying, personal and season-best leap of 1.51 meters. She added two more CC-qualifying finishes in the 100-meter hurdles and long jump. Coming in third in the 100-meter hurdles with a personal and season-best time of 16.82 seconds and in sixth in long jump with another personal and season-best leap of 4.62 meters.

THE INSIDE STORY

• Mercer placed third in the 800 with a personal-best time of 2:32.51. She also came in tenth in the 200 with a time of 29.75 seconds.
• Judge finished fourth in the 800 with a time of 2:35.25. She added a sixth place finish in the 200 with a time of 28.71 seconds. Judge rounded out her heptathlon performance with a toss of 15.26 meters to place tenth in javelin and a throw of 6.12 meters to place 11^th in shot put.
